Vlaco vzw wants to get more out of the biological cycle in Flanders.
For over 20 years now, the organisation has been making efforts to promote composting in Flanders. The non-profit organisation attracts businesses and governments alike, and in early 2015 turned to make sense to develop a clear marketing strategy.
The main question: ‘Is compost on the mind of the end consumer?' But also: ‘Are they aware of digestate, the residual product of organic-biological waste?’ In conjunction with the non-profit organisation, we developed a strategy for cleverly marketing the services and end products of Vlaco vzw. We started from a creative brainstorming session, where representatives from all sectors helped search for potential new products and sales channels.
