A history of focusing on a sustainable future

We proudly present the Faber Halbertsma Group’s corporate story. A new milestone in the rich history of this inspiring circular family business, which should be read and shared. Each year they draw up an annual report, a financial statement. And what happens to it? It gets lost in the filing cabinet. But that’s not the way things should be, thought the customer, and we said the same thing.

One of the few actual circular companies in the Netherlands

And there it is, the story of three generations of sustainable entrepreneurship in words and images that take you back to the past and offer you a sustainable future. Presented by means of a printed magazine, a digital magazine, and a company presentation.

“National research has shown that the Faber Halbertsma Group is one of the few actual circular companies in the Netherlands. The company’s goal is to reuse more than 95% of their pallets and crates.”

- Jan Jonker, Professor of Sustainable Entrepreneurship at Radboud University -

Approach

Faber Halbertsma Group is a sustainable family business. It all began in 1891 with the production of wooden crates, which soon expanded to include pallets and boxes, eventually developing into a Europese market leader in pooling services. Corporate Social Responsibility is in the company’s blood. It has been transmitted for three generations. That is why we have built, written and visualised the company’s story based on the core proposition ‘A history of focusing on a sustainable future’ . The corporate story is based on their own 4 Ps: People, Planet, Performance and Profit. Visually we opted for high-impact, page-filling images that show what the Faber Halbertsma Group stands for and believes in.

the result

The biggest compliment is that the corporate story is being warmly received, both by the management team and the entire staff of the Faber Halbertsma Group. Initially we only had a printed brochure, but because of the internal interest, we also made a digital one.
